| Description of the problem | When filling up the fuel tank on my 2005 jeep wrangler it will not shut off. It sprays gas all over. This is unsafe. Its a fire hazard. It spills gas into the environment. Its costs me money(gas ain't cheap). It is gonna ruin the paint around the filler neck. Jeep refuses to fix the problem under recall. It is happening on many years and models of jeeps. This is far from an isolated incident. The problem is related to the rollover vent valve. Gasoline is serious stuff. It should be treated as such. It happens almost every time i fill up my tank. Jeep wants to charge their customers to replace the whole fuel system. I cant pay that bill, it is way too costly. |
