| Description of the problem | The dash gauges fail (1999 jeep tj) to operate as they should including the speedodometer and tach. Chyrsler, in its first tsb concerning the issue says the repair was carried out by drilling new pilot holes for ground screws. However the problem continues and in a subsequent tsb they say the problem is now caused by rust inside the instrument cluster connector. However i have not followed thru on the issue because of the cost involved in making the repair. |
