Defect summary	Vehicle description: multi-purpose passenger vehicle. The driver's side air bag 'clock spring' wiring harness can break when turned to the 'full lock' turn position.
Consequence summary	In the event of a vehicle crash, the air bag may not deploy increasing the risk of serious injury to the occupant.
Corrective action	Dealers will replace the clock spring in these air bags.
Recall notes	Owner notification began april 13, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact chrysler at 1-800-992-1997.
