| Description of the problem | I have a 2007 jeep wrangler sahara and have recently had increasing incidents occur where the steering will wobble/vibrate causing uncontrollable steering. It is a feeling like the wheels are falling off or you have flat tires pulling you from side to side. Once it starts this process, it seems to increase in incidents and will usually be triggered by hitting small bumps in the road, ie. Construction zone. But, once it occurs, it will have continued instances even when driving over slightly curved/unlevel road. I had to attempt to pull off i-10 going 65mph w/out steering control! Once slowed to below 30/35mph it seems to get better currently, but continues numerous times later. *kb |
