| Description of the problem | While filling up my 2007 jeep wrangler sahara unlimited with gas, the gas seems to overfill and spit back out of the fuel fill neck. This occurs at different pumps with no apparent consistent factors. When the tank gets full and the pump clicks off all of a sudden about a half a gallon of gas, or more, spits back out of the neck onto me, the vehicle and the ground. It happens everytime i try to completely fill the tank. Now i have adapted my fill up strategy and fill only to what i think is near full and not let it click. Dealership says nothing can be done for free without a recall. |
