| Description of the problem | I bought my jeep 12/12/16 and it had 43,319 miles on it. On 2/7/17 at 45,233 miles i had the first engine replacement done. On 5/17/17 at 46,552 miles i had the transmission rebuilt. On 11/1/18 at 65,858 miles i had the second engine replacement. On 3/8/19 at 68,980 miles i had the third replacement engine installed. I got my jeep back on 4/15/19 and now i hear a ticking like sound and i'm told it could be an exhaust leak. Also, before i got the third engine installed the jeep would pop out of first gear when i start to accelerate, just like before. I talked to the mechanic who rebuilt my transmission and he said this is a common problem with the 2007 jeep wrangler. He said he could fix it, but eventually it will start popping out of first gear again. |
