| Description of the problem | After being alerted to a low tire pressure on my jeeps tire pressure management system, i stopped to check the tires and add air. When i removed the valve stem cap on the rear drivers side tire, the valve stem which was severely corroded, crumbled and fell apart. I had to take it in to have the stem replaced. The mechanics that frequently change my oil have stated that all of the other valve stems are in the same condition and are in need of replacement. These are costly item to have replaced. |
