| Description of the problem | When fueling the nozzle clicks and gas stops from the pump to the vehicle, a second later you can hear a rush of fuel coming up the neck of the tank and then spits out of the vehicle. Approximately 1/2 gallon or more is spilled all over the vehicle, person filling and the ground. I have attempted over time to listen and pay attention to how much gas is almost full in the tank but the pressure continues to push the fuel out. I have contacted chrysler and no resolution. This is a safety hazard, as well as an environmental hazard with all the gas that is spilled on the location and later washed away into drainage. Also, when me filling not as concerned but some incidents of this happening to younger members of household have me concerned. |
