| Description of the problem | My airbag light came on and horn would randomly honk. Dealer advised they fixed the clock spring. This occurred approximately four years ago; however, it is doing it again. Mine is left hand drive. Right hand drives were recalled and it makes no sense for the others not to have been recalled when it is doing it again!! When it was repaired the first time, dealer did not have updated part. I'm now penalized and have to pay out of my pocket for chrysler's faulty part. I read the recall and rhd units because they have windows down and this is "severe duty." please understand this is a poorly sealed convertible and dust is simply part of a jeep wranglers existence. Either way, the problem should not be limited to rhd; it should include all those that manifest the problem or see similar severe duty. |
