| Description of the problem | Starting on 12/23/2013, the airbag sensor dinged and became lit on dash, remains lit for about 8 seconds, dings and disappear only to reappear again with a ding in about 8 seconds. This repeats the entire time while driving. Contacted nw jeep/chrysler and they informed this writer it is likely the clock spring and the airbag will not deploy if needed. The dealership continued of a price around $250 to fix it. I find it hard to believe, knowing 07 and 08 jeeps have this same issue, that this writer would be responsible for fixing a faulty sensor imperative for safety. |
