Description of the problem2009 jeep wrangler airbag light illuminates on instrument compartment. This is the result of a clock spring which has been known to jeep for years. Very much a shame that the us gov't right-hand drive jeeps are covered by a clock spring recall but not left handed driven jeeps. It is the same part on the left or right which gets dust on the lubricated and unsealed clock spring. The guess jeep is willing to fix the government jeeps made the same way because of the national safety administration and the lack of support for us consumers i hope jeep takes a hit on this one publicly in the media if they do not fix. This same part was recalled in earlier models but somehow the same part is ok in later models if it is on the left-side and not the right-side of the jeep. Jeeps are not made to get dusty i guess.
