| Description of the problem | Windshield cracked in front of driver seat. Vehicle was stopped in driveway when a "pop" was heard. Crack went up 2 inches, then slowly over 2 days traveled left then down again 18 inches further. The vehicle was stopped, there were no rock flying or chips anywhere. Contacted local dealer about problem. He said they are not aware of any such windshield problems being common with the jeep jk models, he also said chrysler hq is not aware of any such windshield problems being common either. Everyone on the internet seems to know about it. I was advised of it by another jeep owner that hey had 2 windshields replaced already, and to watch our windshield, a week later our cracked as well. |
