| Description of the problem | I have a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited x. I was driving 70 miles an hour and steering wheel started violently shaking. I could not control the vehicle and almost went off the road into a river. I immediately pulled over and called my chrysler dealership who told me this is a known defect but not recalled or covered since my mfr warranty has run out. When i spoke to chrysler rep, they said this is a known problem and since i can't order the original part from mfr because they've replaced it with a "safer" one. So i have to pay out of pocket to put a safer part on my jeep so it is safe to drive down the highway and chrysler is aware of this, but not helping at all. |
