| Description of the problem | I have a manual transmission, when accelerating in first gear, the transmission violently jumps out of gear. At first i thought it was because i was rusty. Then i attributed it to not having the gear in far enough. Based on seeing the other complaints it looks like i'm not the only one that has been struggling with this problem. It definitely gives me pause when attempting to pull into traffic, and has been very intimidating to my 17 year old new driver. By the time i realized it wasn't just me the jeep was out of warranty. *js |
