| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2008 jeep wranger. The contact referenced recall 09v436000 (power train:automatic transmission) and stated that the repair was performed. After the repair, while driving at approximately 70-75 mph, another driver informed the contact that the vehicle was on fire. The contact heard a single popping noise under the vehicle. When he pulled over, he noticed that the entire hood was bucking up and down and smoke was pouring from under. He called the police and fire department; a fire report was filed.
