| Description of the problem | My vehicle fuel tank overflows everytime i fill the tank. It appears that pressure is building in the tank forcing gas back up through the fill port after the nozzle has shut off. This has occurred at several different fueling stations. I contacted the dealership who acknowledged the problem and stated that fuel tank replacement is my only option. I purchased the vehicle new and have owned and fueled this vehicle for three years without incidence. The service department could not assure me that this replacement tank would not develop the same problem over time. This is my fourth jeep and have never experienced this problem before now. |
