| Description of the problem | 2008 jeep jk unlimited rubicon. After approximately 25k mi., the fuel tank will violently overflow when filling. The vehicle, ground and person are covered with gasoline causing a potentially dangerous environment. I turned vehicle in for a warranty repair but the same returned after only a few refuels. Now vehicle is out of warranty and dealership says it is not covered under the recall. Daimler chrysler needs to fix all vehicles that have this defect, not just ones that seem to fall under a some vague category on paper. This is a very unsafe problem, not to mention environmentally un-friendly. |
