| Description of the problem | 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited having fuel spew from filler pipe when filling tank. This occurs just as tank is full and fuel pump automatically stops. The amount of fuel spilled is about 500 cc and comes out as a bubbly mixture. The fuel spills on the vehicle and on to the ground. It will get on the person filling if standing close. The problems started at about 37k miles and is now occurring with nearly every fill-up. There is no warning that this is going to happen that would allow one to stop the pump before the overflow occurs. |
