| Description of the problem | I have a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited sahara. In the past 30 days it has started to flow fuel out of the filler each and every time i fill the gas tank, regardless of the station or pump. It literally gushes out as the fuel pump stops. This is an incredible safety hazard. I'm told by the dealer that there is a flaw with the overflow vent filter and as this component is integral to the tank, that the entire tank must be replaced. With all the exact issues on the nhtsa website, it's unbelievable that there has not been a recall. I'm also now concerned about the so-called "death wobble" issue that i've now read about on the site. |
