| Description of the problem | When filling my vehicle tank with gasoline, a lot of gasoline spills out. I have a 2008 jeep wrangler rubicon unlimited. At almost every fillup, the auto-shut-off feature does not work and gasoline spews out everywhere. This is a issue with chrysler/jeep, not the fuel station. You will find multiple complaints about this with nhtsa. This occurs 90% of the time. I have attempted to clean-out and check all fuel hoses and vent tubes on the jeep. I have not found a solution to the problem. This is a serious problem. A lot of gasoline spewed out. Many people could have easily been killed. Please read this forum to see numerous complaints about the exact issue; http://www. Jk-forum. Com/showthread. Php? T=67585. |
