| Description of the problem | I can not fill my tank anymore, every time the vehicle gets full and tries to auto shutoff, gas shoots out of the fuel filler neck. This is not an isolated incident, this happens every time i fill up. I can not longer fill my tank for fear of this splash back. It is a lot of gas that splashes out also. I was told by a service tech that my best bet is use a high pressure hose to clean off the top of the gas tank, then run it over very bumpy terrain to knock off the dirt that may be sitting on top of the pressure relief valve. This did not seem to work for me though. |
