| Description of the problem | 2008 jeep wrangler jk, equipment. The provided floor jack to change tires is insufficient. When placed in the recommended position to raise the vehicle (location in the owner's manual) the jack at full extension is not long enough to raise the vehicle. At full extension (also not recommended in the owner's manual) causes an unstable jack which increases the risk of the vehicle falling. The provided jack is too short making it unusable. To use the jack, you'd have to put makeshift blocks under it to raise it (not recommended), or buy an aftermarket jack. Hopefully, no one's been hurt yet. |
