| Description of the problem | Shortly after purchasing new in 2008 the vehicle began to intermittently not start, dealer has replaced key, battery, starter, tipm, pcm, negative cable on battery and installed heavy gauge ground cable to battery. After four years and 93000 miles the problem still exists. It appears this problem is common to 2008 wranglers and that chrysler is just throwing parts at it hoping that something will stick. This is a very serious safety issue with me as an engineering soils technician. I need to be confident that my vehicle is going to start so as not to be ran over by a large earth mover while conducting my work duties. |
