Description of the problem	At about 34,000 miles on our 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited, the airbag light started turning on and off with a "ding", very, very frequently. We took it in to our local jeep dealer and it was diagnosed (at $75) as a clock spring failure. They wanted to charge us $450 to install a new one, but since we can't afford that right now, we haven't fixed it yet. After further research on the internet of blogs of others with the same problem, we discovered that our airbags are non-operational while the warning light is on. This seems to be a pretty rampant problem among jeep wranglers, the 2008 model especially.
