Description of the problemPossible faulty clock spring issue as seen in many other jeep wranglers made after 2007. Airbag light comes on with audible warning every other minute and signals the driver that there could be a failure of the airbag or early deployment. This is a known issue by jeep but they have chosen to only pursue right hand drive rhd jeeps even though many complaints have been issued by left hand drive lhd jeep owners as well. Jeep admitted the original clock springs were failing and said they were working on a new one. I called jeep yesterday and was told it would not be covered, but that i should hang on to my bills in case it ever becomes covered. I only have 30,500 miles on my jeep. Many owners have gone through this and only a few have been taken care of. This is a factory product safety issue that should be covered by jeep.
