| Description of the problem | The airbag light and chime come on intermittently and the fault reads drivers squib. It is related to a clock spring in the steering column. Jeep has recalled the 2007 model year wranglers and 2008 rhd wranglers but not the lhd. It is a major safety issue since this is what controls the drivers airbag in a crash. Jeep needs to recall these vehicles and make the needed repairs. If you look on different web sites there are thousands of owners complaining about the same issue. America what happened to being responsible for your actions, lets pass the buck some more and play the blame game. Enough jeep stand up and take responsibility after all your brand name is on the product. |
