| Description of the problem | While driving around town the air bag light came on. Then would extinguish and then come back on with a chime. It does this to this day. Later on i found out that the horn also doesn't work. Upon some extensive research i have found that a lot of 2008 left hand drive jeep wranglers have had this issue, and they all point to the clockspring. I also found out the chrysler has recalled all of the right hand drive 2008 jeep wranglers, but none of the left hand drive. They issued an extended 10 year 150,000 miles warranty for the 2007 model years. This is a safety issue that needs to be fixed. |
