Description of the problem	I have a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited with 48,xxx miles. My airbag light keeps flashing and dinging while driving. The jeep is no longer covered by warranty, but after research i have found the cause to be a faulty clock spring. There has been several documented cases on jk-forum. Com of failed clock springs. The clock spring in the jeep wrangler unlimited is responsible for passing the signal to the airbag for deployment in the case of a accident. The jeep has never been in any kind of accident, fire or any other sort of damage. The problem started randomly on 6-22-2011. I was driving down the road and my airbag light came on with a chime, then turned off a few minutes later. My vehicle has been doing the same thing ever since. I have not repaired the jeep as of yet.
