| Description of the problem | As i was driving down the highway, i hit a bump and my whole jeep rapidly rattled back and forth across the road, nearly causing multiple accidents. It startled me severely, and i slammed on my brakes, slowly decelerating. It took until i got down to 25mph for it to stop shimmying. I pulled off the highway into the nearest gas station, checked my tire pressure and made sure there were no identifiable obtrusions that would affect performance, and carried on, very cautiously. This happens quite often, sometimes going as low at 45mph, but only when something in the road knocks it off balance. I do not feel safe in my jeep at all. |
