| Description of the problem | 2007 jeep wrangler 4x4 safari with esp (electronic stability program). Esp intermittently turns on by itself and can't be turned off. It will eventually turn itself off. Dealer tells me it's caused by a defective clock spring in the steering column, which also controls the steering wheel air bag, cruise control and the horn! I feel this is a safety concern, if any of these devices quit working, because of a defective clock spring!!!! |
