Description of the problem	In november 2008, while driving approximately 60 mph, vehicle began to shake violently and uncontrollably after hitting a small bump in the road. Vehicle had to be pulled off the road and stopped to abate the vibration and regain control. Took to dealer and dealer replaced the steering stabilizer shock. Then, in february 2008, the problem recurred. Dealer recommended the installation of a heavy duty stabilizer shock. Upon picking up the vehicle from the dealer, the problem was significantly worse. Vehicle could not be driven on the highway without experiencing the "death wobble," as it is commonly referred to. Vehicle has been back to the dealer 4 more times for "retorquing of the suspension" and various other potential fixes. Nothing has fixed or even mitigated the problem. Vehicle's condition continues to worsen and is now virtually undriveable. Even though under warranty, the dealership/chrysler will do nothing else. Through research on this internet site and several jeep sites, i have learned that this is a common and dangerous problem. Yet chrysler seems unwilling to openly consider a possible defect or even investigate my problem further. I called jeep/chrysler three times on 3/10/09 and was mysteriously disconnected during each call.
