| Description of the problem | 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited with approx. 15,000 miles. When driving between 40-50 mph and hit a small bump, front end begins a sustained violent shaking that requires the vehicle be nearly stopped before shaking goes away. Has happened five times (highway on ramp, highway off ramp, straight driving on city street and on county road). Initial dealer response was that they had not heard of this before and said it drove fine. Two more incidents and a phone call to the dealer and they said that there is a huge problem with the four door jeep wrangler and that there is a national back order on the steering damper. I am on the list for these when they become available at the end of the month. |
