| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler: 4 door, 4x4 limited. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 mph on the highway, the bracket separated from the steering axle. The contact noticed that when he attempted to brake, the vehicle did not respond; it finally stopped after a quarter of a mile. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for a diagnostics test and repaired. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was no longer under warranty.
