Description of the problem	When coasting to a stop, going uphill on a highway, the brake pedal locks-up when you put your foot on the brake. After a few seconds, it releases and brakes normally. This has happened 3 times at the same intersection (may 2007, august 2007, sept. 2007). All three times resulted in near-miss accidents. The vehicle was in for repair for this problem, but the dealer could not replicate it. Even though he could not replicate the problem, the service manager advised us to get rid of the car because it was an obvious safety issue. On 9/14, while the car was still at the dealer, chrysler announced a recall for this incident and advised customers that had experienced this problem to take the car to the dealer immediately. Ours has now been there for 6 weeks, with no end in sight. We have also had the engine stall when traveling on a twisty road near our residence. This has happened 1 time. This problem has occurred in the same model as ours, but was believed to have been addressed before ours was built. However, we still have the problem and no solution from chrysler. *jb
