| Description of the problem | I have a 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon model 4x4 with a manual transmission. The vehicle will intermittently slip out of first gear causing a loss of acceleration. This can be very unsafe while executing a left hand turn with oncoming traffic. I have had the vehicle into the dealership approximately five times and they refuse to acknowledge the problem stating that they are unable to replicate the issue. Additionally, the vehicle will occasionally be difficult to go into gear and will make a grinding noise. I did not have any issues with this until i had approximately 28,000 miles on the vehicle. The problem is intermittent and can occur multiple times in one day or not at all for several days. I have not had any accidents as a result of the issue but i feel it is highly unsafe and i am afraid for my spouse to drive the vehicle. |
