| Description of the problem | My '07 jeep wrangler jk began to overflow fuel at nearly every fill up. This started in approximately november '10 with about 38,000 miles on the jeep. At times the gas will spew out with significant force, creating a serious hazard. Other times it pours out right past the filler handle and pours down the side of the jeep and all over the ground. It has done this even after i have tried to relieve some of the pressure in the gas tank by stopping the pump, removing handle from filler neck, then re-inserting to resume fueling. This is a dangerous condition that needs to be addressed. I am aware that many other owners of the new wrangler jk have the same issue. |
