| Description of the problem | My jeep wrangler gas tank has a problem. A valve somewhere in the tank is sticking so that when the gas tank is filled at the pump, often times, gas will spill out until the pump shuts off. Probably a gallon or two spill out on the ground. Other times, the pump will shut off prematurely where the attendant must turn the pump nozzle upside down to get the gas to flow. I have read that this is a common problem with jeep wranglers for a few years now, but jeep hasn't addressed it with a recall despite causing a safety issue. |
