Description of the problem	About 3 months ago, i was filling up my 2007 4 door jeep wrangler with gas. The pump automatically shut off and immediately following the shut off gas come pouring out of the jeep. It splashed all over me and puddled on the ground. I thought it was a defective gas pump and complained to the station attendant. It happened again at the next fill up and has at every fill up since if i don't catch it first. It's not the gas pump because i've used several different stations. The only way to keep the gas from spurting out of the jeep is to not fill the tank all the way full. This problem is very distressing and causes a very dangerous situation with gas puddling on the ground and splashing on me and the vehicle. I have had a mechanic look into the defect, he researched online and found complaints of the same problem from other jeep owners. Apparently there is a problem with a flap inside the gas tank that becomes defective and allows the air inside the tank to push gas out the neck upon filling the tank. My mechanic is currently getting ready to replace the gas tank.
