| Description of the problem | During refueling, the gas would over flow when the pump turned off. It appeared to be about a pint or two of gas each time. I experienced the same issue when i used several different locations and brands of gas. Upon contacting chrysler, they seem to think it is an isolated incident, however, a quick search of jeepforums. Com and youtube show that this appears to be a systemic problem with jeeps. There was no attempt by chrysler to accept responsibility, however, they offered to pay for half of the repair out of "goodwill". The vehicle, a 2007 wrangler x unlimited, is still at the dealership awaiting repairs. |
