| Description of the problem | Fuel spitback issue. Under extended warranty, jeep wranglers built 3/1/2007 - 3/31/2008 can have their fuel tanks replaced under warranty. Mine was built in january 2007. If this is an issue in so many other jeeps that fall outside of these built dates, i don't know why they were not included. My vehicle spits out sometimes and estimated quart of gasoline after the automatic fill pump stops. It doesn't matter if it is pumping on the higher or lower speed. This gasoline, even though i wash it off every time, has left marks on my tires and i hope it does not corrode the paint or plastic trim. |
