| Description of the problem | The 3. 8 engine used in the jeep wrangler line uses an excessive amount of oil. It can use up to 1 quart every 700-800 miles. Chrysler has said on numerous occasions this is "normal". There is numerous complaints on various boards regarding this issue as it seems to affect almost all wranglers. Chrysler refuses to acknowledge there is a problem and do anything about it. Spending 35,000+ on a vehicle they should last longer than 70k miles. |
