Description of the problem	Vehicle: 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited x 4x4 . I was driving in 4-wd-low down a sandy hill and i hit a rather large bump/rut and the engine cut off , rendering the power steering and power brakes ineffective. Luckily , there was no other traffic in the area or obstacles in front of me, and i was able to bring the jeep to a stop in 50 yards or so on a steep down-hill section of road. After bring the jeep to a stop it started up again without problem. The jeep dealer said they have not heard of this problem although i have found other's on the web, indicating situations where the engine randomly turned off. This was a major safety issue. If i had been in a situation with any obstacles , trees, cars n front of me, there would have been no way for me to stop or steer out of the way in time. *ak
