| Description of the problem | Three times since i purchased the 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited the engine stalled for no apparent reason. Twice i was climbing a mountain pass at approximately 55 mph, and once i was at an intersection going approximately 15 mph. All three times the engine cut off, all lights on the dash came on, and the momentum of the car started the engine after about two seconds. There was no power steering or brakes while the engine was off. Luckily, there was no need to make immediate stops or turns while the engine was off. These incidents happened about 3,000 miles apart.*ak |
