| Description of the problem | 6 months prior, vehicle would randomly not start. Noticed corrosion on battery, cleaned and replaced connection parts. It worked fine until today. Power locks went out. Checked fuse, was blown. Noticed more corrosion on battery on opposite side this time. Tried replacing fuse and it blew as we were replacing it (sparks coming out of connection, melting a prong). Cleaned off battery corrosion and got absolutely no power to the vehicle when tried to start it. Cleaned in between battery/wire connections and when reassembling the horn, wipers, coolant fan, and lights would randomly go on & off. Vehicle would randomly have power to start, then would not work again. Ended up towing it to dealer, without power. Currently waiting for diagnosis. |
