| Description of the problem | Total loss of power while driving at 55 mph, all dash warning lights came on and lost engine power. I was able to pull of road safely and car died completely. This is 4th time this has occurred. First time, with less than 75000 miles and jeep dealer replaced battery. Second time was on vacation and died on freeway in harrisburg, pa, was towed to aaa shop and battery was replaced. Third time was near my home and husband recharged battery and taken to a local shop, who replaced alt. , that was yesterday. Tonight, on the way to work, happened again. Every time, no warning, dash lights come on a car dies. Any of these could have caused an accident but was lucky to get off the road safely. |
