Description of the problem	I have a 2007 jeep sahara jk four door. Traveling westbound on the 10 freeway in pamona, ca in the car pool lane with cruise control on going about 70mph. I had been traveling this way for about 20 minutes going straight ahead. The engine appeared to stall. The speedometer went to zero even though i wascoasting. The rpm read about 800. I keep pumping the gas pedal, every once in a while i would get a spurt of speed but had an overall reduction of speed. I had to navigate over double yellow lines, between semi's to get to the shoulder. After stopping i turned the key off then on again. It started right up and i continued the rest of the 150 miles. The dash displayed two icons. One was the esp symbol and the other was a red lighting bolt in between two vertical red lines. I called the dealer, shaver jeep, in san bernardino. The service guy said this wasn't uncommon. He hypothesize the esp system sensed a need to turn on causing the computer to take control. I assured him i was going straight and had not made any turns or hit any bumps. It happened out of the blue. If this was the reason, the computer made a false interpretation and it should have turned control back to the driver after the correction was made instead of losing speed on a busy freeway.
