| Description of the problem | My 2009 jeep wrangler will overflow gas onto the side of the jeep onto the ground every time i fill the gas tank up when using any gas station's automatic shut-off. I do not "top off" the tank. I have tried 5 different gas stations to make sure this was not limited to my usual gas stations. I have also tried filling the take up at slower speeds, but it still overflows. This issue started approximately at 20k miles. This is a serious safety issue not only for me but other people using the gas pump after me. On spark from static electricity could cause a fire/explosion. |
