| Description of the problem | When filling my 2009 wrangler with fuel the pump does not automatically shut off before fuel has spilled out of the tank, down the side of my car and onto the ground. I reported this to jeep when if first occurred and they were familiar with the issue, but would not correct it free of charge. But let me know that i could pay to have it fixed. I have not paid to fix it and it continues to happen to this day. This is clearly a design flaw and they acknowledged that, but still have not issued a service bulletin to correct it. The dangers of fuel spilt down the side of my car and onto the ground should be obvious. |
