| Description of the problem | During refueling for the last several months we have experience fuel spit back. This has resulted in fuel spilling on person doing the refueling, fuel on vehicle and ground, enough were the attendant must clean up excess fuel on the ground. This is near the exhaust, extreme fire danger, and personal injury and/or death. Research shows that 2007-2008 jeeps have had a recall for this issue. Chrysler has had this issue for years. My gas tank needs to be replaced as the check valve is in the tank at a cost of $600. 00 + labor & tax. Respectfully request this matter gets investigated prior to major incident involving explosion and/ or fire. |
