Description of the problem	Two days ago, the air bag warning light on the dash started intermittently illuminating along with an audible chime sounding when ever i turned the steering wheel. Driving straight ahead the light would go out. As of today, the light stays on continuously. After checking with posts on jk-forum. Com (forum related to 2007+ jeep wranglers) i found that there is on going issue with the clockspring in the steering wheel area. Multiple people are having the same issue with the same symptoms that my vehicle has exhibited. This is obviously a safety concern on a part/design that chrysler has been having issues with for years. I have seen posts that people have paid upwards of $500 to have this issue fixed. I believe that this should be a tsb and repaired free of charge, or even a recall since it involves the airbag safety system. My vehicle is a jeep wrangler, 2 door, 4x4, left hand drive.
